There is direct creek access. The bank is steep, so there are two 5-foot angled dock ladders with wide steps and handles. The water level varies depending on the season. Entering the creek is at the guest's discretion. There is only one cabin neighboring the East, which is fenced for privacy. There are no properties across the creek or north. There is one cabin, more than a 1/8 mile to the West. So, you are going to have your peace and quiet! Guests are allowed to fish in the creek. It is very important to stay within property boundaries as private property surrounds the cabin. The last two minutes of the drive are on a gravel road. 4WD/AWD is not required! My husband and I couldn’t have chosen a more relaxing & peaceful place to stay at Autumn’s Bend. The cabin was perfect and we had everything we could have possibly needed. It was very clean and we pretty much had the whole area to ourselves so it was private and extremely peaceful. We had amazing weather & sitting out listening to the creek was our favorite thing to do. We highly recommend Autumn’s Bend and we look forward to staying here again in the future.

Autumns Bend was the perfect cabin for our family of 6 to splash in the creek, enjoy dinner on the deck, roast marshmallows, and nap on the porch! We loved how close it was to town and Lake Blue Ridge Marina and The Point Beach Area. The views of the creek and cow pasture were so beautiful. Definitely would recommend this cabin to any family.

I booked this place the day of and the host was super responsive and accommodating. My children have allergies and we are always concerned of dog/cat/air fresheners. This place was amazing and smelled wonderful. Very clean and the bed was super comfortable. I actually looked at the brand to get myself one. Zero bugs! Zero weird smells and so peaceful!
